This is a very confusing time for everyone. Some of us are currently working from home and are trying to find ways to “stay focused.” Here are a few things you can do at home to stay motivated:
1) PUT ON CLOTHES
Getting up and putting on clothes the same way you would if you have to travel to work will keep your mind focused on you being at work, and not just at home. Don’t worry, you can wear slippers with your outfit.
Doing exercises at your work area will keep your mind going and your body feeling at ease. Every 2 hours you should get up and stretch. These exercises can help you not be so stiff.
3) DO YOUR HAIR
Ladies, I know; doing your hair can be something you feel the need to not do since no one will see you BUT this is a way to stay motivated to work. Actively sticking to your usual hair routine for those days of the week that you do work keeps you in that habit.
Yes, a bun is fine.
LAST BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY,
4) GO OUTSIDE
Get some fresh air every chance you get. Don’t stay cooped up inside all day because of work. Go get some vitamins and some possible sanity!
